Tameside Women’s Community Cycling Group is delighted to announce that we have signed up with Transport for Greater Manchester to offer a Bike Library service available to anyone who is interested in getting back in the saddle!
We are one of the many Bike Libraries throughout Greater Manchester and we are committed to promoting cycling for active travel.
What is a Bike Library?
It’s a library where you can borrow a bike and helmet for an agreed period of time.
How much does it cost to borrow a bike?
All loans are free however registration is required. Please bring an official form of identification on the day such as a driving licence or passport.
Where is the Bike Library located?
We are based next to Georgie Porgies cafe in King George V Playing Fields, Alexandra Road, Ashton-under-Lyne OL6 8LG.
What are the opening times?
Our Bike Library is open to the public on Fridays from 10am to 2pm.
